Our craft: CD Decorations

Supplies: Black Paint, Safety Pins, CDs, Pencil, and Brushes.
Paint the CDs black, wait to dry and then draw an image and etch it on, ta-da!

The Beastie Book Club's Halloween Party!

October 26th, 2012 marked the Library's first Halloween Party, hosted by the Beastie Book Club!

Supplies: Pumpkins (we made 24), Chalkboard Paint -$10 (at walmart), and chalk (2 packs for $1).

Supplies: Comic book, Sissors, Laminate, String, Card Stock/Comic board and Modge Podge.

You just find a picture/comic image you want, modge podge it on card stock and laminate over it and your done!

Our craft: Notebook Collage, this is one of the journels that was made!
Supplies: Magazines, Notebooks (about $.17 each), and glue/modge podge. We made 15 notebooks and it cost us less than $3.00.

The first book we discussed: The Hunger Games.

September 6th, 2012 marked the first day of the Beastie Book Club, a total of 18 teens attended and we started our first month’s highlighted teen section: Sci-Fi

Our first craft: Tote Bags.

Teens did an amazing job.

Supplies: Fabric Paints, Paint Brushes, Tote bags. We made 18 tote bags and spent less than $25.00.
